This tranquil and beautiful paddle takes you on journey across the coastal saltmarshes of the Everglades. Highlighted by open sky vistas, needle rush, hammock islands, cattails and blackwater lakes, its one of the most popular routes for landscape photographers. Wildlife encounters are usually limited but could include wading birds, waterfowl, alligators, hawks and eagles. The shallow crystal clear water is also ideal for viewing fish, blue crabs and other marine life.
